The Educative Trail Below Zelená Hora Mountain
Welcome to the Educative Trail Below Zelená Hora Mountain which will show you the birthplace of St. Jan of Nepomuk. The trail goes through the valley below Zelená Hora Mountain where the old Bohemian manuscript (Rukopis zelenohorský) was found, and through places where soldiers of a modern classical comedy lived (Černí baroni). It also goes through the woods and parks where the famous White Monk Monastery used to stand, and you will see a lot of interesting places. The route: Nepomuk (the place) - Monastery – Nepomuk; 4,4 km long Places of interest: historical centre of the town: Zelenohorská post office, the well of St. Jan of Nepomuk, the Zelená Hora castle, the Úslava river, Monastery (Klášter), the Červený most Bridge, the St. Vojtěch chapel.
