Commemorative event in memory of the Shoah victims held on the occasion of the annual uprising in the Warsaw ghetto (19 April – 16 May 1943)

19 May Anniversary of the nal execution in the Small Fortress (Malá pevnost)
Laying of wreaths at the former execution site in the Small Fortress – the largest execution in the history of the prison camp took place 2 May 1945. 51 mostly young members of the leftist resistance movement were executed.

19 May Terezín Memorial Ceremony
A commemorative event in honour of the victims of Nazi persecution
- start: 10:00 am at the National Cemetery in front of the Small Fortress
- organisers: Central Committee of the Czech Union of Freedom Fighters and the Terezín Memorial
- co-organisers: Regional O ce of the Ústecký Region, the City of Terezín, Federation of Jewish Communities in the Czech Republic and the Terezín Initiative For the duration of the memorial ceremony (until approx. 12:00 pm) the Small Fortress will be closed to the public!
For the entire day, admissions will not be collected in any facility of the Terezín Memorial.
27 June Memorial Event on the occasion of the execution of Milada Horáková
- start: 10:00 am in the memorial hall of the former Krankenrevier
- in partnership with Confederation of Political Prisoners of the Czech Republic
1 September Kever Avot Memorial Ceremony in the Jewish Cemetery
Commemorative event in honour of the Jewish victims of the Nazi genocide in the Czech lands.
- start: 11:00 am in the Crematorium of the Jewish Cemetery
- organiser: Federation of Jewish Communities in the Czech Republic and the Jewish Community of Prague
16 October Opening of other spaces in the former Columbarium On the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the deportation of Jews from the Czech lands and the founding of the Terezín ghetto. - opening ceremony will take place at 12:00 pm
20 December Memorial Event on the occasion of the birth of Milada Horáková - start: 10:00 am in the memorial hall in the former Krankenrevier, Terezín Small Fortress - in partnership with the Confederation of Political Prisoners of the Czech Republic
