Lovely, imaginative and family-friendly. These are the words that could be used to describe the Jihlava Zoological Garden. It is a great place for a family trip, but also animal lovers will find here what they seek.
Jihlava Zoo proudly bears the attribute „zoo of five continents“. And that’s what it really is! In one day, you can virtually walk through the whole world. You will visit the African Savannah where you will see giraff es, shy dik-diks, or you can explore the nightlife of bush babies. In the Asian Pavilion, you can see yellow-cheeked gibbons. And if you want to go to some place where it is hot, visit the Tropical Pavilion and discover the story of the airplane.
For the journey around the world to be complete, be sure not to miss the Australian Farm where, in addition to kangaroos, you can find less known but interesting animals. Newly, for examkönple, lesser bamboo rats live here. Not far from Australia, there are the Shetland Islands (not on the map, but in our zoo yes), where you can see the zoo from the lighthouse.
We still have America left. In the Paraná Delta walk-through aviary, you can watch ibises, ducks and inquisitive tamarins. If you are tired after walking, you can relax in the Hokkaido Park or in the village of Matongo. And this is not, by a long shot, all that the zoo can off er you.
