It is like a white fantasy. The grandiose ridges of the Beskydy Mountains under the mantle of a glittering snow robe. Picturesque valleys, interwoven by silver foaming brooks and streams. The central part of the Beskydy is godforsaken and often also overlooked, yet visitors immediately fall in love with this gorgeous region.
Every time you climb up on the Beskydy ridges, you find yourself spellbound. Besides woods scenting of spruce and wonderful panoramas, everybody will be enchanted by the many touristic possibilities. It is said that the world is most beautiful from the horseback. This saying should be slightly adapted, as for the central Beskydy. They are the most beautiful with skis on your feet and sticks in your hands. Moreover, this winter seems to be more than generous. Already in the end of November hundreds of alpine and cross country skiers set off for perfectly maintained slopes and tracks. Actually, we should underline that the Beskydy is the most ideal place for cross country skiing in the entire Czech Republic. There are few similar places where you will find dozens of ridge tracks of all grades of difficulty. And believe us, after skiing you will long to taste more from our easternmost mountains. For a long time the Beskydy Mountains have been offering many places for relaxation and other sports and leisure activities. What would you say to an evening spent in a squash hall or a swimming pool? Or would you rather laze about in jacuzzi or on a massage table? All these conveniences wait for you in the central Beskydy.
