In the 2010 season we have prepared for you:
May 29–30, Children’s tours:
At the top of every hour entry is reserved for families with children. A guide in period dress. Competition for tickets to Journey through the History of Šternberk.
May 29– Aug. 29, Exhibition of Grandma’s Prams:
A display of historical baby and doll prams from 1860–1960. In addition visitors will be able to view period baby clothing, shawls and cushions, along with seeing children’s rooms and toy plates.
Sep.12 EHD:
Within the European Heritage Days, the south terrace of the castle as well as the St. George Chapel will be exceptionally open to the public.
Oct. 23– 24, Journey through the History of Šternberk:
Enlivened history, non-traditional tours. Performers dressed in period costumes staging short scenes and “live” dialogue will present stories, events and fetes, which during normal tours a guide would tell visitors about. An accompanying program at the courtyard and near the dungeon.
