Commemorative event devoted to holocaust victims, held on the occasion of the anniversary of the Warsaw ghetto uprising (April 19 – May 16, 1943) Beginning at 2 p.m., place will be specified
May 2 Anniversary of the last execution in the Small Fortress
Wreath-laying ceremony at the former execution place in the Small Fortress At 2 p.m.
May 18 Terezín Commemoration ceremony 2008
Memorial meeting to honour victims of the Nazi persecution Beginning at 10 a.m. at the National Cemetery at the Small Fortress The Small Fortress will be closed for public during the Terezín Commemoration Ceremony (until ca 12 a.m.)! Visit of all buildings and exhibitions of the Terezin Memorial is free of charge the whole day.
June 27 Reverent Remembrance on the occasion of Milada Horáková´s execution
At 10 a.m. in the former Krankenrevier in the Small Fortress in Terezín, in cooperation with the Confederation of political prisoners
September 9 Kever Avot – Commemoration Act
Commemoration of the Jewish victims of the Nazi genocide in the Czech lands. The arrangement starts at 10 am at the Crematorium on the Jewish Cemetery.
October 16 Memorial Concert
On October 16, at 3 p.m. in the loft theatre in the former Magdeburg Barracks in Terezín. To commemorate the transport that carried the Terezín Ghetto’s most important musicians away to death in Auschwitz in 1944.
December 22 Reverent Remembrance on the occasion of Milada Horáková´s execution
On Monday December 22 at 10:15 a.m. in the former Krankenrevier in the Small Fortress in Terezín in cooperation with the Confederation of political prisoners
