The fourth year of a Music Festival Klášterecké hudební prameny with Jaroslav Svěcený will be held on July 4-12 this year. Each night you can enjoy a concert of a violin virtuoso and his remarkable guests at the castle courtyard, in the castle Renaissance hall, or in the Church of the Holy Trinity.
The brand new project of Jaroslav Svěcený, Michal Dvořák and other artists at the Festival is Vivaldianno 2008 on July 11 from 7:30 pm at the Klášterec castle. A part of the Festival is an exhibition “World in Klášterec nad Ohří“ by a famous photographer and traveller Jiří Kolbaba from July 4 till August 3 in the Gallery Kryt in the Town Hall and in the spa house Evženie. On July 31 from 6 pm the discussion “To the roof of the world by a train“ about China and Tibet with Jiří Kolbaba will be held in the Church of the Holy Trinity. In August you can enjoy two performances of Czech and international artists. The sixth year of artistic smithery symposium Eurokov 2008 will be on August 22-24. You can admire the art of this handicraft in the castle park at the sala terrena opposite to the castle. There will be also the 2nd year of the dance festival Siraex 2008 on August 17-24 in the sala terrena. You can admire Venezuela duet, Czech-Japanese duet, Korea choreography, the artists from the National Theatre, HAMU and Duncan Centre, as well as others. We are looking to your visit! In June the touristic season in Klášterec aquapark was opened. All day long entrance fee is 40 CZK, and you can enjoy a swimming pool, fancy diving, a lagune, a tower for jumping to the water, wild water, pools for children with slides, tobogans (68 m and 128 m, 5 CZK), massage beds (5 CZK), water mushroom, large beach sportground for football and volleyball, giant trampolins and more.
