Summer is knocking at the door and the beautiful weather has lured tourists away from their cosy fireside. Why not take out your bike and make the most of the day.
The Wallachian Kingdom is interwoven with various cycle ways. I myself would recommend the Helfštýn Route. It is of moderate diffi culty, starts and fi nishes in Valašském Meziříčí and will take you around the beauty spots of Wallachia.
If you decide to take a trip along this route, you will encounter a number of places of interest, such as the Castle of Kinský in Krásno, a windmill in Skalnička, a Slovanic Fortifi ed Settlement in Ústí, the spa of Teplice nad Bečvou with magnifi cent aragonite caves and also Helfštýn Castle. On your way you can take a dip in a fl ooded gravel-pit in Hustopeče nad Bečvou or return to Valašské Meziříčí via Kladeruby, Chory and Lhotka nad Bečvou.
